Worshiping Together
September 12, 2010
On Sunday, September 12, 2010, the eight Presbyterian Churches (USA) in El Paso will continue an exciting new undertaking as we meet together for worship and fellowship. All of the worship services will begin at 5 p.m., and on September 12 and for the rest of the month, we will meet at Manhattan Presbyterian Church (1201 N. Piedras). Come and join us!
The purpose of this time together is to provide a visible expression of the connectional church worshiping together; to build relationships among individuals and congregations; to listen for God’s word concerning future mission and ministry; to covenant to a partnership in prayer for church, community, and world; to teach, learn, and experience a variety of styles of worship and music; and to strengthen connections to the wider church.
The worship services will be about 40 minutes long, with an emphasis on Scripture, silence, and prayer. Worship leaders will include pastors, elders, and members from all of our churches, with the Lord’s Supper being celebrated once a month. Mark your calendars and plan to be with us for this unique experience of worship and family!
